Why have separate police dept for every little villages and townships where your property tax always increase to pay for their high salaries and fat retirement packages. It could save hundreds of billions$ in operating cost per year.

Hurricanes Irene and Sandy were truly a huge disaster to “the shore”.

When I was a kid we would “ride the pipe” at wreck pond. It was good at low tide and around low tide but couldn’t be done at high tide. Some species of fish would come through the pipe and you could see them and dip net them although I think that was illegal.

Jersey Freeze has been a stable in my life since I was a young child. My parents would take my sister and I there for a custard and then later as an adult I would go with my aunt or by myself when I went back to NJ on vacation and get an egg salad with coleslaw and a pickle. Loved it. Glad its gotten more robust.

Like the beautiful and gifted Florence Joyner this beautiful sister was one of the most premier, intricate and dynamic human beings in the history of her world class track and field career as well as life too. Tori Bowie’s sweet smile along with her beautiful physical presence and her tenacious fighting spirit was like watching a cinema of pure black beauty in constant motion during her brief time of competition at a world 🌎 class performance level in life. Just like the beautiful and lovely 3x Olympic and World 🌎 class champion Gwen Torrence that really also comes to mind when you think of Tori Bowie’s beauty, strength and determination to win and succeed in the sport of track and field that she was blessed with in her lifetime too is the reason why she did as well as she was expected considering the very difficult circumstances from where she came out of in a little place called Sandhills, Mississippi . Wow ! This beautiful sister should not really be definitely forgotten by all of us and she should definitely be really remembered by all of us in our best memory among the very vast constellations of the brightest stars in the universe . This is how I will remember Tori Bowie best of all as a young , black and gifted beautiful human being so full of life in her earth 🌍 time. Notable: 2016 (4x100) relay in the Rio Olympic track and field games. I don’t know who they found in her house, but I definitely remember seeing with my own eyes that the real Tori Bowie showed up alive and well in the flesh for her 2016 Rio Olympic (4x100) relay teammates there and the (4x100) relay team in London and for everyone that was always cheering for her to win and succeed in all of her accomplishments in life too on that day. Jersey Freeze---my first real job. I think I worked there the summer of 1963. Yes. It was a main young people's hang out on the Rt. 33 circle for years and years and attracted many lunchtime crowds headed for an afternoon at Freehold Raceway, just up the road about a half mile away. Unfortunately the Freeze's time eventually ran out and it's now been replaced by an Olive Garden restaurant. All is ephemeral, fame and the famous (locally) Jersey Freeze as well. R.I.P.
